This is ridiculous. I could listen to these guys all day. Needless to say, I’ve subscribed to their youtube channel. You guys should hear the rest of their covers. Incredible. Some people are just so talented.
This was taken at the lobby of Wanderlust Hotel. They had these spheres situated at the corner where the band would perform. The setup reminded me so much of the area in our house where my uncle and his band would play. Songs by The Police were always part of playlist.

My Uncle uploaded a video of him playing my song request :) This is one of my favorite Sunday afternoon songs. When we were still in Cebu, I remember him playing this on the piano when they visited the Banilad home. It turns out he just heard it on the radio on their way to the house and he liked the song and decided to play it. He’s got an amazing talent. Imagine just hearing a song on the radio then playing it on the piano moments after.
This song is great for Valentine’s day so I hope you all enjoy :)

This morning I remembered this picture. It was taken during our trip to Hong Kong last April.
When the hubby and I heard the news about Micheal Jackson going on tour again this year, we both decided that we would watch his concert if he stops by Asia.
Too bad it’s never going to happen :(

This song is one of my all-time favorite songs. It isn’t very popular but there’s something about it that makes me feel a little more of a romantic than I really am.
I first heard this song on the radio and I don’t think very many people took notice of it. Listening to it made me feel a little different. The lyrics aren’t too dramatic and not even that cheesy. The tune is upbeat and light, which is why it is in my “Feel Good” playlist. Later I learned that this song was written by the husband (the vocalist) for his wife. Wow. The perfect element for a love song. It comes out more sincere when it’s actually written for someone you truly love.

I have a lot of things to be happy about, like not having symptoms of swine flu for example. I’m feeling a little blue today.
I probably just miss home and the people back there. Every time I go home it always feels like the days are cut short. There’s so much to do in so little time.
I want to be productive and do things that I can be happy about. I’ve picked up the guitar again today. My eleven-year-old guitar and I have been reunited. It still looks good but I don’t play very well anymore. My fingers need to do a little stretching.
One of my goals this year is to be able to sing an entire song while playing the guitar without pausing.
I want to have my very own concert.
